We are just about there with the Park looking ready for the Summer peak season! We look forward to seeing you down with what's promising to be a very hot new year through to March.
Block 8 Opening
For those in the Block 8 area we have opened the new renovation. The new addition adds 2 disabled friendly showers and toilets. We are really happy with how it has turned out and hope you are too!
Please ensure when you bring down guests you register them at the office, online, by email or phone. It is a legal requirement and of course there is no charge when down with the Lessee. If guests are coming down to use your van without the Lessee then they also need to register and pay site charge. It is important that the Lessee notifies the office so we know the guests are legit.
Please let us know if we have missed any branches around your caravan and annexe. A reminder that no branches should be cut as we are under a vegetation overlay and require a permit to cut trees. Please see the office if have any concerns.
If artificial grass is to be used on site as a temporary surface, please be aware it must be removed and stored by the end of January. Artificial grass can prevent water reaching plants and trees.
Sun shades and Canopies
Please be aware that all sun shades and canopies should be well clear of the roads (at least 1m) and should be taken down and stored when the site is vacated. This is especially important for emergency service vehicles and everyones safety.
Time to relax...
We realise it is the festive season and a time to relax and enjoy yourselves. Please consider those around you and respect their right to have a good nights sleep.
Keep Kidsafe in Caravan Parks
In conjunction with Vicparks, Wynndean is supporting kidsafe in caravan parks. Please ensure children wear helmets at all times and that they are supervised. There should be no riding after dark and children should be aware of vehicles. Further information will be available in the laundries and will be handed out throughout the summer season.
Park Wi Fi
The free Park Wi Fi has been stretched further throughout the Park. Those around the Block 3 circuit should now be able to access it from the seating in BBQ area. If you are having issues it is best to switch your device completely off and reboot it. The paassword hasnt changed from last year. Please see the office for the password.
BBQ's and Total Fire Ban Days
Please be aware of our Park rule that no personal BBQ's should be used on Total Fire Ban days. Our Christie Park Safe BBQ's are allowed on these days and are scattered throughout the Park. Notice of Total Fire Ban will be displayed at the office and on each amenities.
Please see the office if you require a 9kg or 45kg gas bottle. These are delivered, fitted and tested for $40 (9KG) and $125 (45KG). For same day service it is best to advise us by lunch time.
