Wynndean Holiday Resort
Newsletter March 2016

Dear Guests,

It was great to see so many people down to enjoy the March long weekend.  If you couldn't make it down then, we hope you can make it down for Easter!  The water is still warm, although the days are starting to get shorter for those evening paddles.

The financial year is fast approaching and we are starting to look at our tariffs for the new season.  You will receive your account by the June long weekend and if we have a current email address, it will also be emailed.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Please see the below flyer for our Easter egg hunt.  We have over 800 eggs to search for!

Artificial Grass/Turf
Please ensure all artificial grass is rolled up and stored under vans for the winter period.  If you could please make sure you do this before you leave after the Easter Holidays.  This allows the ground to rejuvenate and for us to mow and wipper snip safely and without destroying your investment.  You will notice too that some areas have couch grass growing up in the artificial grass which makes it tough to mow!  Thank you in advance.

Canopies/Shade Shelters
Please make sure these are pulled down after Easter and stored for the winter months.  They can be very dangerous in high winds and make it difficult to mow around.

Amenities
Please don't hesitate to let us know of any issues with the amenities.  We really appreciate your assistance when communicating leaks, blockages and problems.  The quicker we know the quicker we can deal with it.

Sewer Extension
Before the March long weekend we extended the sewer in Block 8 to give 5 more sites access.  Check out the young apprentice!

Registering Guests
Please ensure when you bring down guests you register them at the office, online, by email or phone. It is a legal requirement and of course there is no charge when down with the Lessee. If guests are coming down to use your van without the Lessee then they also need to register and pay site charge. It is important that the Lessee notifies the office so we know the guests are legitimate.

Trees
Please let us know if you would like us to have a look at any branches around your caravan and annexe. A reminder that no branches should be cut as we are under a vegetation overlay and require a permit to cut trees. Please see the office if have any concerns.  Also, if you think your site needs a few more trees/shrubs please let us know and we will endeavour to plant more.

Hard Rubbish Collections
For customers wanting to dispose of hard rubbish ie couches, bbq's, could you please inform the office and we will pick it up from site. Please don't leave large items at bin stops. We try and reuse and where possible take items in good condition to local charity organisations.

Keep Kidsafe in Caravan Parks
In conjunction with Vicparks, Wynndean is supporting kidsafe in caravan parks. Please ensure children wear helmets at all times and that they are supervised. There should be no riding after dark and children should be aware of vehicles. Further information is available in the laundries.

Gas Bottles
Please see the office if you require a 9kg or 45kg gas bottle. These are delivered, fitted and tested for $40 (9KG) and $125 (45KG). For same day service it is best to advise us by lunch time.
